I am a mom of two wonderful boys, wife to a great husband, and teacher to a busy crew of second graders.
I taught first grade for 4 years; then moved to second grade for the 2012-13 school year due to some staffing changes in our district. I am loving second grade, but I still miss first now and then. I think there are wonderful things about every grade, and I am happy to be right where I am.
One of my favorite things to do is ride our local bike trail with my family. It is so peaceful and relaxing and a great way to spend time together. I also enjoy watching my boys' play baseball, basketball, or whatever sport is in season.
Crafting is something I love to do but don't have much time for anymore. When I get a chance, I do love anything 'homespun'. The next best thing to making treasures myself is finding them at one of our local craft/antique shops.
